What qualifies me?
I come from a family of entrepreneurs. Our foundation is in entertainment, primarily music.
My parents were writers and published authors. My father wrote music, created greeting cards, and wrote two books during his time of life. My mother wrote a short child's story which was part of an anthology, then published a novel in the early 2000s.
Yet, my qualifications don't stop there. I have been writing since my teen years. I was first published in 2009. Having written and published over fifty books, I have the experience of suffering through building my brand and supporting myself as an indie author. It is from this experience God called me to create Destined Publishing House, a hybrid publishing company.
What can you expect at the success academy?
The first four weeks of the academy start April 15th.
You will learn quite a bit in four weeks at the RA Success Academy. Expect:
- creating your author brand God's way
- how to establish your author brand
- what is important in self-publishing
- various print on demand platforms
- various eBook platforms for indie authors
- what is needed for electronic or print books
- ISBN numbers
- how to market your author brand
- the difficulties of being an indie author
- writing with a penname
At the end of the four-week academy intensive, you will have
- structured your author brand
- created profiles on at least three print-on-demand platforms
- created a submission letter for large company (for specific genre)
- created an author brand on My Identifiers
- launched an author brand on social media platforms
- published your first book or next project
- and more.

If you are ready to publish your first book, or next project, wanting to build a brand around being an author, the academy is for you. Understand, though, this is a four-week intensive; the work must be done to achieve the goals mentioned above.
